O'Hara is among 26 people who have been indicted by a federal grand jury in North Dakota.

He is charged with three counts, including conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, and money laundering.
The indictment lists as a victim a North Dakota woman who sent checks for nearly $158,000 after she was promised $19 million in winnings

O'Hara was arrested earlier this month when he was visiting Florida.
Attorney Herman Frank Rubio Jr represented O'Hara for his initial court appearance in Florida.

Mavado has broken his silence on the ongoing tension between himself and fellow entertainer Bounty Killer.

TESSANNE Chin will score another first in American and Jamaican music history tomorrow when she performs at the White House at a concert being staged by US First Lady Michelle Obama.
As part of their “In Performance at the White House” series, the President and First Lady will invite music legends and contemporary major female artists to the White House for a celebration of the great “foremothers” of American music, with songs expressing the struggles and achievements of women, according to a report.

The programme will include performances by Tessanne Chin, Melissa Etheridge, Aretha Franklin, Ariana Grande, Patti LaBelle, Janelle Monáe, and Jill Scott, with Greg Phillinganes as music director.

“Women of Soul: In Performance at the White House will be broadcast Monday, April 7 at 9:00 PM ET on PBS stations across the US.

Stein Urges PopCaan To Keep Feud Musical

Entertainer Stein is warning Popcaan against escalating the lyrical war that the two have into a physical war.
Stein is accusing Popcaan of sending a group of men to attack him.

After a much-publicised pregnancy, which was announced via social media, the relationship between the two has seemingly come to an end.
Sources close to the couple have confirmed with sources that the two are no longer an item.
Both parties were given a chance to comment on the matter recently and they didn't confirm or the deny the speculation.
Rumours about the couple's split began circulating late last year, but when sources approached them about the issue, the couple didn't say much.
"Where did you get that information from? I am in the middle of something right now and I cannot comment on that," Chino said before hanging up his phone.
Former Miss Jamaica World (2007) and Miss Jamaica Universe (2010) Phillipps didn't take up our offer to comment on the split but stated that she was not interested in talking about her personal life with the press.

"I want you to stop using my number to ask me stupid things," the beauty queen said.

In 2012, just months after announcing Phillipp's pregnancy, Chino also released a track titled Miss Universe, seemingly dedicated to his then baby- mother.
Phillipps also set tongues wagging after she was seen on the popular morning show, Smile Jamaica, sporting what appeared to her fans to be an engagement ring.
With reports that the couple had split, sources perused their Instagram pages where it was revealed that they were not following each other. Images which previously showcased the couple in happier times had also been removed.

Vybz Kartel’s sister, Maureen Nelson, who is the vice principal of the Cumberland High School, was the first witness to take the stand for the defense. She gave character testimony telling the court that the deejay grow up in a close-knit family and was the third of six siblings.

Nelson told the court that they went to church every Sunday and they were nicknamed “grill up” because they usually stayed inside. She added that the deejay is very kind and bought his mother a house and father a car when he made it big as a dancehall artiste.

Nelson also told the court that as a Christian and an educator she did not approved of his tattoos and skin bleaching but accepted it because it is apart of his craft.

Lead prosecution attorney Jeremy Taylor grilled Maureen Nelson under cross-examination asking her about Kartel’s music and his friends.

The trial continues today in the Home Circuit court.

According to authorities, the accused men beat Clive “Lizard” Williams to death on August 16, 2011 at a house in Havendale over two missing illegal guns.
His body has yet to be found.

Vybz Kartel murder trial in the Home Circuit court on Monday saw some major development as the prosecution revealed text messages from Clive “Lizard” Williams cellphone.

The damning text messages implicate Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm in the alleged August 16, 2011 murder of Clive Williams.

Detective Corporal Sean Brown, from the Organized Crime Investigation Division (OCID), made a PowerPoint presentation of some text messages alleged sent between Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm and Clive Williams and his girlfriend.

A terrified Clive Williams sent several text messages to his girlfriend on August 16, 2014 begging her to help him while he was en route to the house in Havendale.

Police officers say Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, along with Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Kahira Jones, André St John, and Shane Williams allegedly beat Clive “Lizard” Williams to death over two missing firearms belonging to the dancehall star.

Last week Joseph Simmonds, who is Digicel’s Group Business Risk Director, took the witness stand and told the court that none of the 40 cellphones were registered to Vybz Kartel and his co-accused Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Kahira Jones, André St John, and Shane Williams.

Simmonds also told the court that it is possible to clone a Digicel sim card.

The jury now have the daunting task of determining whether or not these are legitimate text messages sent between the parties involved.
